Kathmandu: Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda,' Chairperson of the Nepal Communist Party (Maoist Centre), expressed optimism that all the splinter groups from the Maoist movement would soon reunite. Speaking at a program organized by the Nuwakot Kathmandu Liaison Coordination Committee, Dahal emphasized that ongoing unity talks among leftist, socialist, and Maoist forces were progressing positively, and he expected concrete results soon.

Dahal conveyed his belief that with collective effort, the Maoist party could regain its former strength and secure a strong voter mandate, similar to the success it achieved in 2064 BS. He directed party leaders and cadres to compile a list of those who supported the Maoists in 2064 and their descendants, in preparation for a nationwide campaign aimed at revitalizing the party and building a strong base among the people.

He also assured that the proportional and inclusive provisions within the constitution would not be weakened, but rather, they would be further strengthened. Dahal mentioned that the process of transitional justice is also moving forward, signaling progress in addressing past conflicts.

Other senior leaders were present at the event, supporting Dahal's call for unity and revitalization within the party.
